In this series Martin Brents observation that the neon signage far from glowing continuously is frequently rationed to small sections only with little or no co-ordination with neighbouring properties the lights create pools that punctuate the scene, the glow of downtown Miami illuminating the sky and spaces between the buildings with its eerie mercury vapour glow.
